I just installed a rechromed 1963 sissy bar, a 1963 seat, NOS reflector kit, and a newly laced 36 spoke rear rim that was exclusive to 63 also. I had meant to repaint but am now considering leaving as is with the original paint and just rescreening the chain guard. Attachments:

Very nice bike you have there I'm a lover of original paint and that is sweet as is if you reprint the guard are you going to match the look of the frame with new paint on old.

I will repaint only the white Stingray lettering. I do it in white enamel paint then let it dry for a day or two then use a light rubbing compound on it to make it look light and worn but still visible. Add a few scratches in it and Shazaam!!!! It looks old and original!!!!!!
