Today is the day. I finally pulled my finger out and will be doing some constuction. Will post pics later if I remember how to piece it together. It's been apart for a long time.

No it will be a 5 speed. If it was a coaster it would have a different sprocket, not the Mag.

Take a look at the last pic. The sprocket on the bike is a Mag sprocket and is only used on 5 speeds. The coaster is a flatter looking sprocket and is a bit smaller. That's what I was talking about earlier.

But the coaster sprocket is still called a 'mag', there are many other things on a 5 speed to tell the difference, 'C' brake bridge on the frame, different chain guard, and no drum brake. Anyway, here's my original Jan 70, so you guys can see the differences.
