Yes, some stuff was too far gone so I had to swap some from a donor bike too.

That was a very good year for Breezes. Here is a pic of my wife's 1966 24" Breeze. It was too far gone to try and restore, so I added a fair amount of custom stuff. Blue metal flake powder coat, 3-speed SA hub with drum brakes front and back. Attachments:

Thank you, It is tough to improve on the simplicity and beauty of the original Breeze, but I had a really fun time building it for my wife. We needed a 24" because she can't reach the ground on her 26" Classic AL. So I built this one for her and fits her perfectly and rides like a dream.
